Ms.
Carroll launched her own fashion line during the fall of 1997, making her
the first Afro American woman to have her own signature clothing line.
Targeting the market of Black American female professionals, the fashion
line includes assortment of dresses and suits, for the office as well as
the evening. Here follows parts of an article published in "Black Elegance",

"This is something I've envisioned since I was
a young girl, when there were no prominent fashion role models for Black
women to emulate," says Carroll. "The goal of the brand is to help women
